Review of the book: Teaching Thai as a Foriegn Language: concept to practice

Abstract

Teaching Thai as a foreign language: concept to practice was one of the textbooks on methods of teaching Thai to foreign learners written by Watcharapol Wiboonyasarin. The content of this book consisted of important issues in the science of teaching Thai to foreigners. The author has divided the content into 6 chapters, namely, chapter 1 dealing with  the history of teaching Thai as a foreign language in Thailand and the history of teaching Thai as a foreign language in foreign countries; chapter 2 dealing with the concept of teaching foreign languages ​​8, chapter 3 dealing with the teaching of Thai as a foreign language, chapter 4 dealing with teaching Thai as a foreign language, chapter 5 dealing with technology and teaching Thai as a foreign language and chapter 6 dealing with the plan for learning Thai as a foreign language. The salient feature of this book was application of technology with teaching Thai as a foreign language, which was absent in other textbooks on the subject matter.
