The Speech Act on Expression of Feelings Appeared in the Literary Work: Inao in Episode on the Battle of Kamang Kuning

Abstract
This academic article aimed to study the use of speech act on expression of feelings that appeared in literary work entitled Inao in episode on the battle of Kamang Kuning by using the criteria for analyzing speech act of communication using the concept of John R. Searle, who proposed an analytical principle known as speech act condition. The results of the study found that the speech act in expression of feelings on the literary work entitled Inao in episode on the battle of Kamang Kuning, has 2 characteristics: the expression of positive feelings and negative feelings as follows: there was expressions of 7 positive feelings such as expression of joy, expression of love, expression of remembering, expression of concern, expression of gratitude, expression of loyalty, expression of regret. There was expression of 8 negative feelings such as expression of sadness, expression of dejection, expression of anger, expression of resentment, expression of irony, expression of ridicule, expression of distress, expression of fear. The most common found speech act of expression of feelings was the expression of concern, followed by the expression of love, and expression of anger.
