The Lanna women teachings value in the songs of Charal Manopech

Abstract
This academic article presents the value of the teachings of Lanna women as appear in the songs of Charan Manopech, who is known as the King of Kham Mueang Folk Songs. Most of Charan Manopch's songs talk about the Lanna way of life, however, there are songs that mention the teachings of women. For example, 10 songs are given as Sao Chiang Mai, Long Mae Ping, Chao Duang Dokmai, Nang Non, Kham Mae, Jane Din Jane Fa. The kindness of a northern girl, Sam Poi Luang, Yindee Chao, Dreammer Reward. These songs are soft, dreamy, melody and has lyrics referring to the teachings of young women in Lanna society, which are both direct and indirect teachings. The overall teaching content can be divided to 5 groups: 1) personal conduct, such as love for the honor and dignity of women, Proud of Lanna 2) Remaining in society, such as choosing a partner, obeying one's parents, solving life problems 3) Living as a good wife 4) Love, teaching steadfast love, one love, keeping the truth 5) Traditions, way of life and beliefs. Propagation of the teachings of Lanna women through beautiful songs caused the teachings to be disseminated widely and be another form of cultural evidence that made people in later generations, both in Lanna society and in societies of different cultures, know that these profound teachings have existed in Lanna society for a long time.
