PRISONERS’ SATISFACTION TOWARDS FULL SUFFICIENT EATING – NICE SLEEPING PROJECT: A CASE STUDY OF SONGKHLA PROVINCIAL JAIL

Abstract

The objectives of this thematic paper were as follows:- 1) to study prisoners’ satisfaction towards full sufficient eating – nice sleeping project of Songkhla provincial jail. 2) to compare the prisoners’ satisfaction towards full sufficient eating – nice sleeping project of Songkhla provincial jail in terms of age, degree of educations, and based of cases as differently. 3) to study the suggestions concerning problems and resolution of full sufficient eating – nice sleeping project of Songkhla provincial jail, sample size by at the Krejcie and Morgan’s table, then got the sample at number of 291 persons. Data collective instrument was questionnaire, both open and close ended. Data analysis by instant computer program, carried out by statistical analysis by frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, F.test and Scheffe’s method.

The results found that:

          The prisoners’ satisfaction towards full sufficient eating – nice sleeping project of Songkhla provincial jail by including was at moderate level when identified in terms of age, degree of educations, based of cases found that by including was at moderate level. The comparative results of prisoners’ satisfaction towards full sufficient eating – nice sleeping project of Songkhla provincial jail found that in terms of age was different as statistical significance at 0.05, degree of educations was different as statistical significance at 0.001, but based of cases was not different as statistical significance at 0.05

          The suggestions concerning problem and resolution of full sufficient eating – nice sleeping project of Songkhla provincial jail. The problem; not good enough of prisoners patient service, some of prisoners had no service whenever getting sick, less of toilet for prisoners which are increasing. The resolution: to be add of creation of patients in the jail as cover as possible, the jail staff should take care the patients whenever getting sick, the jail staff should add more toilets for prisoners increasing.
