POLITICAL PARTICIPATION OF MEMBERS OF HADD SUMRAN CO - OPERATIVE GROUP LIMITED, TRANG PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this Minor Thesis were as follows : 1) to study political participation of members of Hadd Sumran Co - operative Croup Limited, Trang Province 2) to compare political participation of members of Hadd Sumran Co - operative Croup Limited, Trang Province having different gender, age, education level and period of being members 3) to study the suggestion on problems and the ways for promoting political participation of members of Hadd Sumran Co - operative Croup Limited, Trang Province The studied population were namely all 217 people of sample group. The instruments in data collection were namely questionnaire and data analysis using ready-made program of computer. The statistics using data analysis were namely percentage value, mean, Standard deviation (S.D.) Hypothesis test with valuing the statistics of t-test and F-test including paired comparison using Scheffe method

The research results found that:

political participation of members of Hadd Sumran Co - operative Croup Limited, Trang Province in overview was in moderate level. In each aspect found that voting use, political discussion, political information interesting and political movement in overview and each aspect was in moderate level. The comparative results of political participation of members of Hadd Sumran Co - operative Croup Limited, Trang Province separating as gender, age, education level and period of being members found that were statistically significantly different at level 0.01.

          The suggestions on problem and promotion ways for political participation of members of Hadd Sumran Co - operative Croup Limited, Trang Province were public organizations should have promotion and culturing the political consciousness to the members of Agricultural Cooperative having understanding and having the faith to the process, substances and roles of democratic politic and building the understanding on the process of democratic government in every levels in order to make the member of Agricultural Cooperative having participating in political development that take to develop much more politic, democratic in the future.
