THE PEOPLE’S PARTICIPATION TOWARDS CRIME SUPPRESSION AND PREVENTION CONCERNING DRUGS, NAPRU SUB-DISTRICT, PRAPROM DISTRICT, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this thematic paper were as follow :- 1) to study the people’s participation towards crime suppression and prevention concerning drugs, Napru sub-district, Praprom district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province 2) to compare the people’s participation towards crime suppression and prevention concerning drugs, Napru sub-district, Praprom district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province in terms of sex, age, education, occupation and income per month difference, and 3) to study the suggestion were concerning problems and resolutions the participation towards crime suppression and prevention concerning drugs, Napru sub-district, Praprom district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The population were the people in Napru sub-district, Praprom district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province at the number of 7,243 persons, sample size by Krejcie and Morgan’s table, got the sample at the number of 364 persons. the instrument for data collection was questionnaire, both closed and open end, data analysis by instant computer program, the statistical analysis by frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test F-test and LSD Method.

         The results found that :-

         The people’s participation towards crime suppression and prevention concerning drugs, Napru sub-district, Praprom district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province was at the middle level when classified by sex, age, education, occupation and income per month was included in the medium The comparison of the participation of citizens in crime prevention for drug addicts in Na Pru Phra Amphur Phra Phrom, Nakhon Si Thammarat by gender, age, education, occupation and income per month Difference is statistically significant at the .05 level.

         Suggestions about the problem and guidance.
