GUIDELINES FOR SUPPLY MANAGEMENT USING INFORMATION SYSTEM OF NAKHON SI THAMMARAT ART AND CRAFT COLLEGE UNDER NAKHON SI THAMMARAT VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the conditions of supply management of Nakhon Si Thammarat Art and Craft College under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Vocational Education, 2) study the guidelines for the supply management using the information system of Nakhon Si Thammarat Art and Craft College under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Vocational Education, and 3) present guidelines for the supply management using the information system of Nakhon Si Thammarat Art and Craft College under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Vocational Education. This qualitative research employed in-depth interviews to gain the data from 15 key informants and three experts, including a focus group discussion of 7 experts.

The research showed that;

1. the conditions of supply management of Nakhon Si Thammarat Art and Craft College: the administration is divided into each part. The Deputy Director of Resource Management directly supervised the supply division. It has duties and responsibilities: setting up a system and performing tasks related to procurement, purchasing, hiring, controlling, keeping, disbursing, and disposal of supplies under regulations.

2. Guidelines for supply management using the information system of Nakhon Si Thammarat Art and Craft College consisted of: 2.1) planning to specify the needs, 2.2) providing the supplies, 2.3) distributing the supplies, 2.4) controlling the supplies, 2.5) maintenance the supplies, and 2.6 supply disposal.

3. Guidelines presentation: The information system of Nakhon Si Thammarat Art and Craft College was possible to use, appropriate, and valuable. These were the guidelines for supply management using the information system of Nakhon Si Thammarat Art and Craft College. The experts of the focus group discussion suggested that information technology should be promoted to assist and continually improve supply management for the supply work in educational institutions under the contexts of the educational institutions and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission.
