PROJECT EVALUATION OF MORAL AND ETHICAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION FOR STUDENTS AT BAN HUAYSAI SCHOOL UNDER TRANG PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

Abstract

This independent research aimed to evaluate 1) the context of the project needs, project suitability, objective suitability, and project feasibility,
2) input factors about the readiness of personnel, budget adequacy, materials, and buildings, 3) the planning process, project implementation under the plan,  plan monitoring and evaluation, application of evaluation results for development, and 4) Project's outputs of moral and ethical development and promotion for students at Ban Huaysai School on the following issues: Desirable characteristics of students arising from this project, Ethics of students at Ban Huaysai School, Evaluation of students and parents satisfaction towards this project. The sample group of the project evaluation, selected by purposive sampling, consisted of one school administrator, ten teachers, 40 students from grades 4-6, and 40 parents. The research instruments included four copies of five-scale questionnaires and an authentic assessment record form to evaluate the students' desirable characteristics. The statistics employed in this research were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The research showed that;

1. Overall, the project context of moral and ethical development and promotion for students at Ban Huaysai School was appropriate at a high level.


2. Overall, the project's input factors of moral and ethical development and promotion for students at Ban Huaysai School were appropriate at a high level.


3. Overall, the project implementation process of moral and ethical development and promotion for students at Ban Huaysai School was appropriate at a high level.


4. Overall, the project's productivity of moral and ethical development and promotion for students at Ban Huaysai School was appropriate at a high level.

4.1 Overall, student and parent satisfaction with the moral and ethical development and promotion project was high.

4.2 Desirable characteristics of students arising from the moral and ethical development and promotion project were based on the results of the student quality assessment under the Basic Education Standards: Standard 1: Student Quality, Item 1.2 Students' desirable characteristics. It was found that the students' desirable characteristics were at a high level or higher, with an average of 98.59 percent.
