PROJECT EVALUATION ON STUDENT DEVELOPMENT IN DISCIPLINE, MORALITY, AND ETHICS AT KOH SAMUI SCHOOL UNDER SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE SURATTHANI CHUMPHON

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the project's context, input, process, and output for student development on the aspects of discipline, morality, and ethics at Koh Samui School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suratthani Chumphon. The sample group was composed of school dministrators, educational institute committees, teachers, and students from grades 1-6, 351 people in total. The research instruments were a five-rating scale questionnaire and an interview. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The research showed that;

1. In terms of context, the overall evaluation result was high. The project, consistent with the moral and ethical development policy set by the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, was at the highest level. The interview results revealed that the evaluation aligned with the objectives and goals of the project. The school environment was arranged, contributing to discipline, morality, and ethics development. The needs of personnel matched the project implementation.


2. In terms of input, the overall evaluation result was high. The input of project participants was at the highest level. The interview's results revealed that the assessment was consistent with the readiness of the procedures, budgets, materials, and personnel competencies that support the project implementation to develop the discipline, morality, and ethics of students.


3. In terms of process, the overall evaluation result was high. The highest level was continuously boosting project staff's morale by administrators. The interview's results revealed that the assessment was consistent with the project management and control regarding the cost-effectiveness analysis in resource application, project implementation, and project monitoring.


4. In terms of output, the overall evaluation result was high. The discipline aspect was at the highest level.
