STUDY RESULTS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM WITHIN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS USING THE 3PPS SUPERVISION PROCESS

Abstract

This research aimed to study the development results of the internal quality assurance system within educational institutions using the 3PPS supervision process of schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 on the following aspects: 1) Evaluation of the internal quality assessment within the educational institutions, 2) Evaluation of the fourth round of external quality assessment, and 3) Satisfaction towards the development of internal quality assurance system within educational institutions using the 3PPS supervision process.

         The sample, selected by purposive sampling, was composed of administrators and teachers responsible for educational quality assurance from 40 schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, which have been assessed for external quality assessment, round 4 of the fiscal year 2022. The research instrument used to collect data was a supervision form following the implementation of internal quality assurance in educational institutions using the 3PPS supervision process and a satisfaction assessment form for the development of internal quality assurance system in educational institutions using the supervision process of 3PPS.

The results showed that;

1. The internal quality assessment result of all schools under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was good or better at all levels and standards.


2. The external quality assessment result of the schools under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Education Service Area Office 1 was good or better at all levels and standards.


3. The educational administrators and teachers were most satisfied with developing internal quality assurance systems within educational institutions using the 3PPS supervision process.
