GUIDELINES FOR LEARNING MANAGEMENT IN NEW NORMAL TO IMPROVE LEARNERS’ QUALITY OF NAKHON SI THAMMARAT ARTS AND CRAFTS COLLEGE

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) study the condition of learning management in the New Normal, 2) study guidelines for learning management in the new normal for learners’ quality improvement, and 3) present guidelines for learning management in the new normal for learners’ quality improvement. This research was qualitative. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 people, three for in-depth interviews to study the guidelines and nine for focus group discussion. A research tool was the interview. Data were collected through interviews and focus group discussions.

The research showed that:

1. The condition of learning management in the new normal had two forms: On-Site and Online. The operational conditions were as follows: the college provided the readiness to care for the learners. It also offered preventive measures under the announcement of the Ministry of Public Health and the Center for Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration. The college had a contingency plan, quarantine rooms for infected students, thermometers, alcohol gel, and social distancing.

2. Guidelines for learning management in the new normal for On-Site and Online learning to improve the quality of vocational learners included four components: 1) Morality, Ethics, and desirable characteristics, 2) Knowledge, 3) Skills, and 4) Capability application and responsibility.

3. Presentation of learning management in the new normal resulted in two forms: 1) On-site and 2) Online, with components in four aspects. The experts with learning management experiences agreed to summarize that the guidelines were possible, suitable, and beneficial.
