The Study of Components of Creative Culture in Schools under Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

The research objectives aimed to 1) analyze components and indicators of creative culture 2) verify the congruence between the model for measuring creative culture components of creative culture development in schools under the Loei primary educational service area office 2, with the empirical data. A sample including 285 teachers and administrators from The Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was drawn using multi-stage sampling. The tool used for data collection was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with content validity values between 0.67 and 1.00, and a reliability coefficient of 0.979. Descriptive and inferential statistics were performed using the SPSS program. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was performed with the M-plus program. The research results revealed that: 1) Creative culture development in schools under the Loei primary educational service area office 2 consisted of 5 components and 14 indicators; (1) Network teamwork comprising 3 indicators; (2) Work motivation comprising 3 subcomponents; (3) Positive interpersonal relationships comprising 2 indicators; (4) Shared vision for change comprising 3 indicators; (5) Creative environment comprising 3 indicators. 2) The model of creative culture in schools that was developed by the research was consistent with the empirical data with x^2 = 53.431, df = 54, P-Value = 0.4963, RMSEA = 0.000, SRMR = 0.021, CFI = 1.000, TLI = 1.000
