Learning Management to Develop Analytical Competence Using the Doctrines of Yoniso Manasikara of High School Students at Khoksi Phitthayasan School, Khon Kaen Province

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the learning management conditions that promote analytical thinking competencies based on the principle of Yoniso-manisikara, 2) examine the development of competencies in analytical thinking skills according to the principle of Yoniso-manisikara, and 3) evaluate the competencies in analytical thinking following the principle of Yoniso-manisikara for 5th-year high school students at Koksapithayasarn School, Khon Kaen Province. This is an experimental research study targeting a group of 40 fifth-year high school students and key informants, including school administrators, subject group leaders, and 8 teachers. Research tools used include assessment forms, questionnaires, and interviews. The statistical methods applied in the research are percentage, mean, standard deviation, and dependent t-test. The research findings indicate that 1) the learning management conditions that enhance analytical thinking competencies based on the principle of Yoniso-manisikara involve using the basic education curriculum. There is support for social studies teachers to collaborate with moral education teachers to implement the learning process by integrating the principle of Yoniso-manisikara. Instructors received training and self-development regarding teaching methods, lesson design, the use of various media, and organizing learning activities to develop students both in and out of the classroom. The evaluation and assessment methods are in line with the Ministry of Education's criteria, flexible according to real situations, and include appropriate and varied evaluation methods. 2) The evaluation results of knowledge and understanding after using the learning management set to develop analytical thinking competencies based on the principle of Yoniso-manasikāra indicated that it was at a high level in all aspects. 3) The assessment results of the competency in analytical thinking using the principle of Yoniso-manasikāra showed that overall, it was at a high level in all aspects.
