The Structural Equation Model of Global Mindset of School Administrators Affecting Quality Schools under The Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 4

Abstract
This research aimed to: (1) examine the goodness-of-fit of the structural equation model of the global mindset of school administrators affecting quality schools under the Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, as developed by the researcher, with empirical data; (2) investigate the influence of the global mindset of school administrators on quality schools under the Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 and (3) explore guidelines for developing the global mindset of school administrators affecting quality schools under the Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 4. A mixed-methods research design was employed, using a multi-phase interactive model. The structural equation model consisted of 10 parameters. Based on a parameter-to-sample size ratio of 1:20, the sample size was determined to be 200 participants, comprising school administrators and teachers. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.820. Structural equation modeling was analyzed using the Mplus 7.0 program. The findings revealed that: (1) the structural equation model demonstrated a good fit with the empirical data (X2 = 33.137, df = 24, p-value = 0.101, X2/df = 1.380, CFI = 0.995, TLI = 0.993, RMSEA = 0.044, SRMR = 0.016); (2) the global mindset of school administrators had a positive direct and total effect on quality schools, with a coefficient of 0.951, statistically significant at the .01 level, explaining 90.50% of the variance (R² = 0.905); and (3) the guidelines for developing the global mindset of school administrators affecting quality schools under the Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 consisted of five key dimensions: (1) adaptability, (2) global vision, (3) global interaction, (4) global cultural understanding, and (5) emotional intelligence.
