An Analytical Research of English Listening and Speaking Skill

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze research published between 2015-2020 on the English listening and speaking skills. The main topic focused on 1) style and volume of research 2) compare the effect of research to the instruction. The sample used were 30 theses from graduated school in government and private universities. The results found that: 1) Rajaphat University was the most research published with the major involved on the curriculum and instruction following the English field. The highest publication was in 2012. The major topic was on communication. The target population conducted was students in primary 5. Time for the experimental research was between 10`20 hours. The sample size was 11-30 participants. And 2) the effect of instruction was different with statistical difference at .05 indicated the difference of teaching methods had an effect on English listening and speaking skills.
