Abstract
ABSTRACT
The research aimed to study the skills of school administrators in the 21st century under Ubon Ratchathani Primary Education Service Area 4, to compare the opinions of the teachers as classified by position, working experience and education level and to explore the guidelines for development of the skills of school administrators in the 21st century under Ubon Ratchathani Primary Education Service Area 4. The samples used in the research were 291 teachers of the schools in question, derived by a stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a five-rating scale questionnaire of a total confidence value equivalent to .98. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and variance analysis. The research findings were as follow 1) the skills of school administrators in the 21st century was at a high level. 2) a comparison of the opinions of the teachers towards the skills of school administrators in the 21st century as classified by position, working experience and education level had no different opinions with a statistical significance of .05, and 3) the guidelines for development of the skills of school administrators in the 21st century were as follows (1) supposed to develop and study the same understanding for cooperation within educational institutions (2) should be a coordinator in various activities and exchange data with multiple parts (3) supposed to develop knowledge and focus on regular practice (4) supposed to develop and use digital technology in public relations within schools and communities through a variety of methods, and (5) supposed to develop and organize the method of work, suggest school staff to collaborate and reduce the conflict with companion.
