A STUDY GUIDANCE COMPETENCIES OF TEACHERS IN PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMMA SCHOOL. THE GENERAL EDUCATION SECTION, AREA 1, BANGKOK

Abstract

This research the objectives are 1) to study the level of guidance competency of teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma School. General Education Department, Area 1, Bangkok 2) To compare the competency levels of guidance teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma School. General Education Department, Area 1, Bangkok Classified according to personal factors 3) To make recommendations for guidance policy in Phrapariyattidhamma schools. General Education Department, Area 1, Bangkok by research regulations mixed methods The sample group consisted of teaching personnel in Phrapariyattidhamma School. General Education Department, Area 1, Bangkok, 92 pictures/person, obtained from the purposive selection method. The tools used in the research are questionnaires and interviews. Statistics for analysis include frequencies, percentages, averages, standard deviations. One-way analysis of variance and content analysis. The results of the study revealed that: 1. Competency in guidance work of teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma School General Education Department, Area 1, Bangkok Overall it is at a high level. has the highest average (x̅= 4.09, S.D. = 0.77). When considering each aspect, it was found that skill competency (x̅ = 4.14, S.D. = 0.791), followed by characteristics (x̅ = 4.10, S.D. = 0.778) and knowledge (x̅= 4.04, S.D. = 0.734), respectively. 2. Teachers by gender, classified by age, educational level and work experience It was found to be significantly not different at the .05 level. 3.
