Abstract

               This research aimed to 1) study the level of educational welfare management of the Sangha chiefs, 2) compare and classify the educational welfare management of the Sangha chiefs, and 3) study the problems, obstacles, and suggestions for the educational welfare management of the Sangha chiefs in Bang Mun Nak District, Phichit Province. The research methodology was mixed-methods. The population consisted of 340 educational personnel, directors and deputy directors of educational institutions, teachers, civil servants, and contract teachers. The quantitative research was conducted using a survey research method, collecting data from a sample of 184 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability of .968. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance. The semi-structured qualitative research was conducted by collecting data from 9 key informants. The data was analyzed and synthesized in terms of content. The research results showed that 1) the overall state of educational welfare management of the Sangha chiefs was at a high level. 2) Personnel with different genders, ages, educational levels, social status, and work experiences had different opinions.  No statistical significance and 3) Guidelines for the management of educational welfare work of the Sangha in Bang Mun Nak District in terms of supporting scholarships to alleviate the suffering of parents and guardians and create morale; in terms of morale, ethics and good hearts, enhancing knowledge and health behavior; in terms of promoting and supporting educational equipment, promoting self-learning skills and problem-solving based on various experiences; in terms of promoting and developing educational institutions from education, organizing education for charity without expecting profit, aiming to help poor children.
