Didactic Islamic Perspective in Novel Pewaris

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the didactics of Islam in the novel Pewaris by Rahimidin Zahari, which directly teaches a systematic chronological story pattern on the development of the mind based on Islamic teachings. The Pewaris novel focuses on a person whose work continues to the community despite challenges, threats and damage reputation that occur. That is why in its function is a tool to be taught, the greater the didactic, the more effective the achievement. Therefore, this objective explains the didactic concept of the Islamic perspective through Bagia Shaif's character, which is reflected in the attitude of always doing acts of worship, always being grateful to God and determined to spread religious knowledge to others. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative method such as a bibliographic study that refers to journals and books related to the title of the study by using descriptive analysis. Based on the research carried out, the author found evidence that the Pewaris novel highlighted the direct and indirect motives worthy of being a guideline in teaching and learning, initiative, sincere attitude and positive thoughts should be emulated to others.
