K.K. Land for Big Band

Abstract

This jazz composition was created for big band. The piece presented in concept of composition, arranging, and orchestration. Furthermore, the piece will be performed to public such as recital and music festival.
K.K.Land is base on a 12 bar blues and create different melodies from the blues scale. The blues music structure is a component for the development and appear in various sections of the piece, such as 12 bar blues, Blues melody, head, phrase. For the harmony use reaharmonize chord, substitute chord of triton upper chromatic dominant to make a song interesting.
The piece were release to the public at the “Monday Night Live Part TV”, organized by the Conservatory of Music, Rangsit University, the 6^th Thailand International Jazz Conference, organized by the College of Music, Mahidol University and the Music and Performance Arts International Festival, organized by Burapha University.
