The Samrerngsin band was established by Mr. Mongkol Kongpol and Mrs. Jitjongkol Montienthong. They nominated this band by the name of father who is owner of musical folk drama that called Samrerngbanterngsuk. Currently, the band located at 239/2 Moo 11, Thanyathani village, Railakthong sub-district, Phanat Nikhom district, Chonburi, Thailand. Samrerngsin band was inherited in performing arts from their mother.
Chatri drama has been modified from a long story to concise story because the most of people thinks that Chatri drama is about Enlightenment. From this reason, it caused some problem, for example, the number of audience in present are less than in the past. Therefore, the drama need to improve the show such as add dance to show, adjust the rhythm and so on. From these improvement, it can attract many people to watch this show. Although, the show has been adjusted but it still maintain the original of Chatri drama in ancient dance pattern, the costume correctly and Thai culture communication. It’s not surprised that Chatri drama eventually changed to another form as dance drama but it’s still in Thai society for a long time.
