An Approach of Piano Teaching “Rigaudon” by Georg Philipp Telemann

The aim of piano teaching “Rigaudon” by George Philipp Telemann is to present teaching techniques to teach music students who learn piano as their minor instrument in Bachelor of Music Program. The author applied personal teaching experiences with researches from textbooks and documents by distributing teaching techniques into 4 principles which are 1. Play one hand at a time with very slow tempo 2. Play both hands with slow tempo 3. Play both hands with a tempo almost the same as the indicated tempo. 4. Play both hands with the indicated tempo. Each principle consists of a sub-step instruction including the important techniques for piano playing which are note-reading, rhythm counting, tempo, articulation, dynamic, balance and music interpretation.
