Transformation of Learners’ Worldview through a Drama Process for Learning.

This research article is written from action research on Enhancing the characteristics of youth in the Humanistic Dimension through Drama Process for Learning. This research has two objectives: 1) to develop a Drama Process for Learning to enhancing youth traits in the humanistic dimension and 2) to study the effect of using Drama Process for Learning to enhance youth traits in the humanistic dimension. In this article, the authors present only lessons on the development of a Drama process for Learning to enhancing the character of youth in the humanistic dimension in 2 forms: 1) the Drama Process for Learning, Devised Theatre form on the Bang Pakong community base and 2) A series of learning the humanistic dimension through the drama script of Bang Pakong, River of Dragons. Each model consists of 4 learning phases. Designed by integrating drama for learning with concepts of Transformative Learning and Community-based learning. The core principle is that drama must be a tool for learning the inner worldview through community-based experiences. The learning designer must design activities that allow participants to work with their beliefs and life perspective. Questioning the existing set of experiences. And learning must be not just thinking, but having to feel through direct experience. To raise the base of life with feelings leading to enhancing youth traits in the Humanistic Dimension.
