Analysis and Interpretation of Three Pieces for Clarinet Solo Composed by Igor Stravinsky

Abstract

In this article, the author presents a method for analyzing and interpreting songs in a clarinet player approach by selected the repertoire “Three Pieces for Clarinet Solo” composed by Igor Stravinsky. The content of the article is classified into the subject of form analysis, music interpretation and explain how to play. The guideline in this article is an analysis and interpretation guideline for playing by the author’s experience. As a guideline for the study of interpretation and methods of playing the clarinet, it can be applied for the benefit of playing this song or developing a guideline for playing it in other song.
