THE MOVEMENT OF CULTURAL ARTS IN EASTERN CENTRE OF ART AND CULTURE

Abstract

This thesis “The movement of cultural arts in Eastern Centre of Art and Culture” aimed to study the history, roles and functions in Eastern Centre of Art and Culture. It was analyzed to find the concerntration of solution and outstanding as a guideline for the movement of cultural arts in Eastern Centre of Art and Culture.

Methods employed in this thesis are questionnaries concerning visitors’ opinion and their satisfaction of Eastern Centre of Art and Culture; target interview related to the Eastern Centre of Art and Culture, Arts and culture events and experts in museums including participatory observation.

From the research, operation of the Eastern Centre of Art and Culture was managed by the supervision of Burapha university and the faculty of Music and Performance. The role and function of the Eastern Centre Art and Culture are still facing obstacles. The permanent exhibition isn’t interesting; there is no different temporary exhibition. art objects management and public ralation should be improved. The researcher made the guidelines for the movement of cultural arts through the assignment of
issue book activities as follows: Creating a register of objects to electronic information; Presentation of information to the E-museum; Exhibition of national artists; Exhibition of the East artists; Alternative learning activities and mobile exhibitions.
