CONCEPT AND TACTICS FOR PI-PHAT ENSEMBLES RECORDING: A CASE STUDY OF AJARN PRATEEP JATTANAKUL

This research paper is part of the research titled Concept and Tactics for Thai music recording. A case study of Ajarn Prateep Jattanakul, the objective of this study was to study the recording process of Thai music bands. The study was based on the concepts and strategies of Ajarn Prateep Jatinakul in the original Thai music collection project. According to the royal initiative Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Collecting data and analyzing the process of recording the sound from the performance by the Pattayarat Thai Music institute by using a qualitative research process.
The results of the research on the recording of the Pi-phat ensemble were as follows: 1) The sound recording process was organized in a detailed sequence. From the sound source to the complete sound wave storage system 2) Applying international standard recording techniques and theories. to adapt and apply it to the instruments in the Pi-phat ensemble. Make the sound meet the characteristics of the Thai sound and get the perfect sound quality.
