ENHANCING THE MUSIC SKILLS TRAINING PROCESS FOR YOUTH WIND BANDS IN 3-BURI DISTRICTS

This Research and Development aimed to develop and evaluate a music skills training process for youth wind bands in Lopburi, Singburi, and Saraburi provinces. Following a needs analysis and the development of the innovative the Music Skills Training Process, an implementation phase was conducted. Performance skills were evaluated across five key criteria: 1. Sound Quality, 2. Note and Rhythmic Accuracy, 3. Technical Proficiency, 4. Musicality, and 5. Ensemble Performance. Data were analyzed using a paired-samples t-test, which revealed that the overall post-test performance scores (M = 4.25, SD = 0.55) were significantly higher than the pre-test scores (M = 2.85, SD = 0.60) at the p < .05 level. The results clearly indicate that the developed process tangibly enhances musicians' abilities.
