Creating a Manual of Drill Design for Marching Band

Abstract

The Thesis entitled “Creating a Manual of Drill Design for Marching Band” aims to 1) study and Compile information about drill design techniques for marching band corps style in Thailand from 2000 to 2020 2) use the data obtained from the study to analyze, process, and create a manual of drill design for marching band 3) evaluate the quality of a manual of drill design for marching band created. The tools used in this study are 1) Interview form and 2) Questionnaire form. The research found that 1) The study and Compile information about drill design techniques for marching band corps style in Thailand from 2000 to 2020 provide the important information in four issues including (1) Work objectives (2) Planning and preparation (3) Work methods and (4) Problems and obstacles 2) The result of creating a manual of drill design for marching band should have the following important manual elements: cover, foreword, table of contents, content, and bibliography 3) The result of the quality assessment manual found the manual of drill design for marching band very appropriate at the highest level in all 3 aspects as follows: (1) the form of the book, (2) the content and illustrations, and (3) the usability with an overall average 4.60 were marked as qualified according to the research’s criteria. Therefore, it is concluded that the manual of drill design for marching band having great quality.
