A Development of Co-Operation Learning Model with STAD Techniques, Together with Tales for Children, to Develop Reading and Writing Skills, The Thai language learning group, grade 3

Abstract
This research was designed (1) to investigate the state, problem and the guidelines the development of cooperative learning model with STAD techniques, together with tales for children, to develop reading and writing skills; (2) to construct and develop the cooperative learning model; (3) to try out the cooperative learning model with sub-objectives which are : (3.1) to compare the learning achievement between before and after learning the cooperative learning model with STAD techniques, together with tales for children, to develop reading and writing skills; (3.2) to compare the reading and writing skills between before and after learning the cooperative learning model with STAD techniques, together with tales for children; and (4) to evaluate and update the development of the co-operative learning model. The cluster random sampling method was applied for 35 Prathomsuksa 3 students of Sihrakswithya Municipality School in the 2nd semester, B.E.2561 academic year.
The research findings were summarized as follows :
- The state, problem and the guidelines the development of co-operative learning model using the documentary analysis and the interview of 5 experts were consistent and found that the development of co-operative learning model with STAD techniques, together with tales for children, to develop reading and writing skills;
- The result of the development of co-operative learning model with STAD techniques, together with tales for children, to develop reading and writing skills showed the most suitable is the average of 4.68 and the efficiency of the learning model reached the 86.80/86.86 efficiency; thus, it was fit to the 80/80 criterion. Besides, the effectiveness index was 0.75 or 75 percent.
3 The learning achievement between before and after learning showed that after learning, the students who learnt the Thai language had significantly higher learning achievement than before learning at the .01 level.
- The participants reported being highly satisfied with the learning model of co-operative learning model with STAD techniques, together with tales for children, to improve reading and writing skills with the overall aspect being evidently found at a high level. The mean was 4.38.
