Information System Development Student Identity Verification with QR-Code Online by Using Agile Concept

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop an online identity verification system for students based on the Agile concept and evaluate its efficiency, and  2) to evaluate the satisfaction of its users. There are 2 groups of samples in the research including 3 information systems experts and 5 teachers to evaluate efficiency of the system developed, and 10 students from student-club and 32 first-year students who study in the Computer Education Department to rate their satisfaction on the system usage by selecting a specific sample group. Research instruments include: 1) system performance assessment form and 2) user satisfaction assessment form. The analysis employed average and standard deviation as statistical techniques. 


The results indicated that: 


1) The development of an online Identity verification system by scanning QR code based on using the Agile concept evaluated by experts was at a good level (Mean = 4.40, S.D. = 0.30) 


2) The evaluation of user satisfaction from 3 groups showed the followings: teachers had the highest level of satisfaction (Mean = 4.44, S.D. = 0.17), students from the student-club had the same level as teachers (Mean = 4.44, S.D. = 0.17) and first-year students from the Computer Education Department also had the highest level of satisfaction (Mean = 4.60, S.D. = 0.61)
