A Study of Approach Management to Buddhist Sunday School, Meang District, Nan Province

Abstract

             The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the history of Buddhist Sunday school. 2) to study the problems of Buddhist Sunday School Management in Muang District, Nan Province. 3) to study an approach management of Buddhist Sunday School, Muang district, Nan province. The result of this research was found that:

             The history of Buddhist Sunday school.

             Buddhist Sunday school had beginning on Sri Lanka that the purpose to restore of Buddhism and protection from Christian attack. Buddhist Sunday school like the volunteer school because there aren’t pay for teachers. There are monks and laymen that working under the Young Men Buddhist Association or Y.M.B.A. In Thailand the Buddhist Sunday school had been begin on 2488 B.A. that was the time of the World War II, there are cultural assimilation. In the 2496-2500 B.A. Phrapimoladhamma (Aard Asapadhera) the Sangha president of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University had goes to Myanmar and Sri Lanka for visit Buddhist activities. He saw the monks teach the morality to students on Sunday. There fore, he had apply this idea to Thailand and have the first Buddhist Sunday school in 2505 B.A

             The problems of Buddhist Sunday School Management in Muang District, Nan Province was found that:

             There are 5 problems of educational management were, 1) the problem on learning management. 2) the problem on teacher. 3) the problem on instructional media. 4) the problem on educational tests and measurements. 5) the problem on learning environment management.

          The result of the ways management of Buddhist Sunday School, Muang district, Nan province was found that there are 8 ways of management 1) the way management of  Buddhist Sunday school on general management. 2) the way management of  Buddhist Sunday school on Curriculum management. 3) the way management of  Buddhist Sunday school on academic management. 4) the way management of  Buddhist Sunday school on activity management. 5) the way management of  Buddhist Sunday school on personnel management. 6) the way management of  Buddhist Sunday school on instructional media management. 7) the way management of  Buddhist Sunday school on budget management.
