Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the natural media in Buddhist scriptures, 2) to study the use of the natural media in propagating Buddhism, and 3) to analyze the use of the natural media in propagating Buddhism by emphasizing the study of the Tripitaka, books, articles, commentaries, and other related documents, then analyzing and summarizing the information and presenting the information in the form of descriptions.
          The research results found that:
          1. Using the media to propagate the Buddha's teachings and disciplines, he used natural things to bring nature back to teach people by inserting dharma into explaining dharma that seemed difficult for ordinary people to easily understand.
          2. The use of natural media in the propagation of Buddhism is to raise animals or natural things to intervene in dharma communication to make the dharma look not boring, people of all ages can listen to the dharma that he preaches, adjusting Dharma approaches society, approaches individuals for proactive propagation, adapts to all ages.
          3. Using media in Dharma communication, His Highness will consider the environment in that place to see how much Dharma in an individual can be understood based on the surroundings of that place. If in the forest, he would use things that are in that forest, such as trees, branches, leaves, forest railings, flowers or various plants. If near mountains, streams, he would bring those things into the media of Dharma. It is bringing things that are around that are usually taught by interpolating with principles so that listeners can consider accordingly. It shows that the Dharma that he has shown is something that can be considered, can be understood, and can be put into practice.
