Coaching Leadership of School Administrators in the Digital Age for Educational Opportunity Expansion Schools in Ngao District under the Lampang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

             This research aimed to: 1) examine coaching leadership of school administrators in the digital era in Opportunity Expansion Schools in Ngao District, and 2) study guidelines for developing coaching leadership of school administrators in the digital era in Opportunity Expansion Schools in Ngao District under the Lampang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The population for this study consisted of school administrators, teachers, and educational personnel in Ngao District from 9 schools, including 9 administrators and 148 teachers and educational personnel, totaling 157 participants. A mixed-methods research design was employed. The sample group comprised 113 administrators, teachers, and educational personnel, along with 5 key informants for interviews. The research instruments included questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
             The research findings revealed that:
             1. The study of coaching leadership among school administrators in the digital era in educational opportunity expansion schools in Ngao District found that the overall level was at the highest and high levels. When considered by aspects, they were ranked as follows: morale and encouragement, providing feedback, listening and understanding others, and building relationships and trust, respectively.
             2. The guidelines for developing coaching leadership among school administrators in the digital era for educational opportunity expansion schools in Ngao District under the Lampang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 emphasize that coaching leaders should create a safe space through deep listening and open-ended questioning to enable teachers to reflect and solve problems independently, shift motivation from self-development toward student success, and foster a transparent digital culture that connects individual achievements with a shared vision to reinforce the value of every member.
