A DEVELOPMENT OF A POP-UP SUPPLEMENTARY BOOK ON BEHAVING AS A GOOD CITIZEN BY THE WAY OF DEMOCRACY ALONG WITH SIMULATION LEARNING FOR GRADE 4 STUDENTS

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) creating and finding efficiency of pop up supplementary book on behaving in democracy way management by the simulation for grade 4 students as 80/80 criterion, and 2) comparing the achievement of grade 4 students and their behavior of a good citizen before and after using pop up supplementary book, and 3) investigating grade 4 students learning satisfaction in using pop up supplementary book 30 students of grade 4 were selected from Tedsabantaphanhin School as the target group of study. The research instruments were composed of the pop up supplementary book and the simulation of behaving in democracy way learning achievement test student behavior observation form and the assessment of student satisfaction form in using a pop up supplementary book. The statistics used for data analysis were the average value, the standard deviation, t-test.  The results showed that:
1. The pop up supplementary book efficiency was above the standard with score 83.00/ 83.33 which achieved criteria efficiency set.
2. The score of student achievement in term of study after using pop up supplementary book was significantly higher than before.
3. The student behavior assessment about behaving in democracy way in 5 subjects were found that the students have an excellent behavior (average score of 28.38 from 30).
4. The student learning satisfaction in using a pop up supplementary book was achieve the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.54, S.D. = 0.19).
