บทคัดย่อ
ภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่สอง (ESOL) เป็นการจัดการเรียนการสอนที่มุ่งเน้นไปที่การพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้อาศัยใหม่ในประเทศที่ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาทางการให้สามารถนำมาใช้ได้ในชีวิตประจำวัน ด้วยเหตุนี้ เนื้อหาหลักสูตรจึงเน้นให้ผู้เรียนสามารถนำทักษะภาษาอังกฤษไปประยุกต์ใช้กับชีวิตนอกสถานศึกษา บทความนี้มุ่งนำเสนอการนำทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่สองในสถานศึกษา กรณีศึกษาเมือง Palmerston North และการเรียนรูปแบบออนไลน์ในประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ โดยการนำทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่สองนี้เพื่อสามารถนำความรู้ความสามารถด้านทักษะภาษาอังกฤษไปใช้ในการดำเนินชีวิตตลอดชีวิต พัฒนาศักยภาพของตนเองหรือพัฒนาประสิทธิภาพการทำงาน เพื่อส่งผลให้ประสบความสำเร็จตามเป้าหมายที่วางไว้และเป็นพลเมืองที่มีคุณภาพของประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ และสามารถประยุกต์ใช้ในการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษของประเทศไทยเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษและส่งเสริมให้ผู้เรียนเกิดทักษะการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตอย่างยั่งยืน
