Public Participation in the Preparation of The Sub-District Development Plan of The Koh Kaew Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Samrong Thap District, Surin Province

Abstract

The objectives were to study and compare the participation of the people in the preparation of the sub-district development plan of the Koh Kaew Sub-district Administrative Organization, Samrong Thap District Surin.  The sample group was people aged over 18 years old in the Koh Kaew Sub-district Administrative Organization Samrong Thap District.  A total of 357 people in Surin Province were determined. The sample was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan. The instruments used in the study were questionnaires. The reliability of the whole issue was 0.91. Descriptive data analysis was analyzed by using  mean, standard deviation, test hypothesis using statistical values ​​t-test and F-test

The results found that

(1) the people's participation in the preparation of the sub-district development plan of the Koh Kaew Sub-district Administrative Organization Samrong Thap District Surin by overall and each aspect was at a moderate level. Sort the average  from highest to lowest as follows: benefit side, evaluation , and operational aspects

(2) a comparison of opinions on people's participation in the preparation of the sub-district development plan of the Koh Kaew Sub-district Administrative Organization Samrong Thap District Surin province found that the people of different gender, age, occupation and educational level have participate in the preparation of the district development plan Overall and each aspect is no different. The problems and obstacles encountered are most of the people Lack of knowledge and understanding in the preparation of the Sub-District Administrative Organization Development Plan and do not know their role.
