The Training Management of Thailand National Swimmers Representing Thailand Swimming Association

This survey research aimed to study the training management of Thailand national swimmers representing Thailand Swimming Association. The sample was 31 swimmers and coaches of the 30th Southeast Asian Games selected. The data were collected using the self-administered questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA.
The results of the research found that the training management of Thailand national swimmers representing Thailand Swimming Association as a whole average was at the high level ( = 3.65). When considering each aspect, it was found to be at a high level such as personnel (swimmer) ( = 4.18), personnel (coach) ( = 4.17), training ( = 3.92), and location and equipment ( = 3.42), respectively. A low level such as budget and welfare ( = 2.57). The comparative analysis found that the respondents with different education level had different training management of Thailand national swimmers representing Thailand Swimming Association, in terms of personnel (coach), location and equipment, and budget and welfare. The respondents with different duration of the swim had different training management of Thailand national swimmers representing Thailand Swimming Association, in term of personnel (swimmer). The respondents with different participating in international swimming competitions had different training management of Thailand national swimmers representing Thailand Swimming Association, in term of personnel (coach).
The results of the research showed the respondents with junior high school. They are ages with high sports motivation. The training from a young age until joining the national team. They have experience about sport that trainer should listen to the opinions and collaborate in training management.
