SUSTAINABLE STRONG COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: A CASE STUDY OF HUANA SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, MUEANG NONG BUA LAMPHU DISTRICT, NONGBUA LAMPHU PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of the research on sustainable strong community development: a case study of Huana Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Nong Bua Lamphu District, Nongbua Lamphu Province were to study the development of sustainable strong community of Huana Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Nong Bua Lamphu District, Nongbua Lamphu Province and provide recommendations for the sustainable strong community development of Huana Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Nong Bua Lamphu District, Nongbua Lamphu Province. This study was conducted using quantitative research method. The research results reveal that the sustainable strong community development of Huana Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Nong Bua Lamphu District, Nongbua Lamphu Province is perceived at a high level. When considered in each aspect, it was found that the mean score of the acceptance from outside society aspect is ranked the highest followed by those of community management, capital, collaborative networking, continuous activities aspects, and rights management and political bargaining power aspect is ranked the lowest respectively. This study suggests that the community is equipped with knowledge and immunity which makes it difficult to be exploited from external societies to a certain extent. However, the power confines of the community might be subject to limitations in the demand of its vested interests. There should be enhancements of knowledge on rights development and political negotiation power, for instance, knowledge on application of law, or usage of information technology medias to strengthen external negotiation power.
