BULLING AND VIOLENCE IN SPECIFIC THAI LITERATURE

Abstract
This article aims to present images of bullying in society that appear in many forms of Thai literature. Not only a gestures but also words show parody, sarcasm and violent physical abuse. This article studies the theory and concept of bullying through widely well-known Thai literature and choosing only the story where the protagonist is bullied by another person (Bully), that is, ‘Chao ngo’ Lakhon nok of “Sang-thong”, ‘Mae Manee’ from Thai folktale “Kaeo-Na- Mah” and ‘Nang Uyai’ from the literature of Wat Ko about “Pla-boo-thong”. The cause the bullying is related to some aspects of the protagonists, such as the gestures, status, or some physical defects. In which all 3 characters choose different ways to deal with bullying. If all methods have resulted, these characters have been abled to return to normal life.
