TEACHING ENGLISH SPEAKING IN EFL CONTEXT
Main Article Content
Abstract
Speaking is one of the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) that plays an important role in communication effectively. In particular in teaching English in English as a foreign language (EFL context), teachers of English need to know how to teach speaking, not only the components in teaching speaking, but also the activities employed in the classroom. That the teacher needs to provide the students opportunities in practicing speaking through the interaction using pair work and group work among the learners to encourage confidence in speaking English.
