The Strategy of Participative Academic Management to Develop Students’ Qualities under Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to 1) study the present conditions, the guideline, and the factors related to participative academic management to develop students’ qualities
under Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok; and, 2) develop the strategy of participative academic management to develop students’ qualities under Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok. The samples were obtained by stratified random sampling and simple random sampling which consisted of 305 persons namely 38 administrators and 267 teachers. The research instrument was Likert’ Scale Type rating scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed using means, standard deviation and content analysis. The research findings included 1) the present condition of participative academic management to develop students’ qualities under Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok was at the high level. The factors related to participative academic management to develop students’ qualities under Institute of Vocational Educational, Bangkok were at the high level. The guidelines of participative academic management to develop students’ qualities under Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok consisted of planning, organizing, leading, controlling and monitoring, improving and developing. 2) The strategies of participative academic management to develop students’ qualities under Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok
consisted of a vision, goals, strategies and indicators. There were 6 goals and 20 strategies. The evaluation of strategy for participative academic management to develop students’
qualities under Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok was found that the majority of strategies had the agreement at the highest level. The appropriateness and the possibility
were at the high level. The utility was at the highest.
