The Process of Entertainer in Entertainment Industry: Case Study of Bandara Acting Academy

Abstract

        This research is qualitative research. The purpose is to find out the communication process about the people entering the entertainment industry by studying from the School Performance Bandara. As a case study, the research determines objectives 3 reasons 1) to study the history of the School performance Bandara 2) to analyze the characteristics of School Performance Bandara 3) to study the communication process in order to encourage entering the entertainment industry of actors.

        The research found that School Performance Bandara is a School performance that doesn’t focus on commercial like the other schools. Therefore, there is a communication process to teach and encourage students to enter the entertainment industry with quality and integrity through teaching in five subjects, stunt subject, dance subject, modeling subject and singing subject and focus on the communication to encourage the knowledge of two major parts 1) Knowledge of the performance. 2) Knowledge about life in the entertainment industry that has process of teaching in various techniques and the important technique is the relationship between teachers and students that cause the work stable and stay in the entertainment industry for a long time.
