การศึกษาวิเคราะห์ กลวิธีการเล่าเรื่องของตัวละครหญิง ใน The Penelopiad ของ Margaret Atwood : ประเด็นความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิง

งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเอกสารประเภทพรรณนา ศึกษากลวิธีการเล่าเรื่องของตัวละครหญิงเรื่อง The Penelopiad ของ Margaret Atwood โดยเฉพาะประเด็นความรุนแรงที่มีต่อผู้หญิง ในการวิเคราะห์ประเด็นความรุนแรงนี้ ผู้วิจัยใช้กรอบแนวคิดทฤษฎี โดยยึดตามหนังสือคู่มือ Domestic Violence: A Reference Handbook ของ Margi L. McCue (2008) เพื่อจำแนกประเภทความรุนแรงที่พบใน The Penelopid และวิเคราะห์การนำเสนอภาพความรุนแรงที่เกิดผลกระทบต่อ นางทาส และ Penelope ผลการวิจัยพบว่ากลวิธีเล่าเรื่องผ่านตัวละครหญิง นำไปสู่การเปิดเผยประเด็นความรุนแรงต่อตัวละครหญิง ด้านอารมณ์จิตใจ ร่างกาย และทางเพศ การนำเสนอภาพความรุนแรงที่เกิดผลกระทบต่อนาง Penelope และนางทาส สะท้อนมุมมองร่วมสมัยของ Atwood ที่วิจารณ์สังคมปิตาธิปไตยในกรีกโบราณ สิ่งที่นักเขียนรุ่นใหม่ทำได้คือการเขียนเล่าใหม่เพื่อให้เกิดการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์และกำจัดวิธีการเล่าเรื่องต้นฉบับที่สนับสนุนให้เกิดการยอมรับได้ในการกระทำรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิง
