Abstract

his research aims to study a concept and history of praying, the behavior of the praying people, and pledge business to help develop a votive offering application. This votive offering application provides services that help people to have a better experience in votive offering under the ‘Lazy Economy’ trend. The research procedures were as follows: (1) to observe prayers behavior and pain point; (2) to design and develop an application that pledge businesses; (3) to collect for the opinions of experts; and (4) to enhance the application design. The results are as follows: (1) the characteristics of belief about votive offerings and the pledge business in Thailand was influenced by sacrificial ceremonies in Buddhism. When your wish come true, player must do votive offerings. It is a way to encourage yourself and the results of the 100 people survey found that identified the characteristic behavior of votive offerings that encountered problems from the beginning til the end. Furthermore, the results of the survey found that respondents had a positive attitude and were interested in the development of an application for pledge business. Therefore, it is a great business opportunity for development; (2) the research outcomes lead to votive offerings using an application that will be developed and based on previous problems that those praying had to face and the needs for votive offerings. A survey was conducted to collect information on the attitudes and behaviors of those praying in the Ratchaprasong area and online in 100 sets. This includes interviewing experts on how the research could be improved. The application consists of four main options, as follows: (1) Votive Offering Products; (2) a Pray (Bon) Buddy; (3) Explore; and a (4) Pray Memo. The research found that, this application not only solving the prayer problems and helping prayer but there are a lot of opportunities for a great new kind of business.
