Managerial Skills of Administrator and Educational Quality Standard of School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Samutprakan

Abstract
This research article aimed to study 1) Managerial Skills of Administrator under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Samutprakan 2) Educational Quality Standard of School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Samutprakan 3) the relationship between administrative skills of school administrators and educational quality standards of schools. The sample group used in this research consisted of 24 schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Samut Prakan, selected by Simple Random Sampling. The research instruments used for data collection were questionnaires on administrators’ managerial skills based on Griffin’s concept and questionnaires on the educational quality standards of schools. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire on administrators’ managerial skills was 0.975, the reliability coefficient of the questionnaire on educational standards was 0.974, and the reliability coefficient of the entire questionnaire was 0.985. Analysis data by arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient. The research results were found as follows; 1) The overall administrative skills of school administrators were at the highest level. When considering each aspect, all were at the highest level, ranked from highest to lowest mean as follows: technical skills, conceptual skills, interpersonal skills, decision-making skills, time management skills, diagnostic skills, and communication skills. 2) The overall educational quality standards of schools were at the highest level. When considering each standard, all were at the highest level, ranked from highest to lowest mean as follows: Standard 3 (learning management quality development), Standard 2 (school administrative management quality development), and Standard 1 (learning outcomes). 3) The relationship between administrative skills of school administrators and educational quality standards of schools was positively correlated at a high level with statistical significance at the .01 level.
