Abstract
A book review on “Thai Traditional Medicine Guide: A Path to Professional International Career” by Dr. Parinya, a Thai traditional medicine doctor, found that in this book, the author had the idea to convey the story of Thai traditional medicine, how it came to be, the process and steps in diagnosing diseases, the process of compounding medicines, and integrated treatment. At present, Thai traditional medicine was considered an alternative medicine that was popular worldwide and was very popular among patients because it had the advantage of not having to risk side effects from using chemicals or synthetic drugs like modern medicine. Importantly, it did not require surgery because in addition to being painful, it may also be risky if the patient’s body was not strong or was old. In addition, the author has brought Thai traditional medicine to the international learning field.
