The Participation in Flood Prevention of the Police Officers, Royal Police Cadet Academy

Abstract

This study was a quantitative research aimed at studying level of the participation in flood prevention of police officers, the Royal Police Cadet Academy and studying the relationship of personal information and the level of participation in flood prevention of police officers, the Royal Police Cadet Academy. Research area was the Royal Police Cadet Academy at Nakhon Pathom Province. The population was a group of 400 police officers performing duties in the Royal Police Cadet Academy, divided into 300 commissioned police officers and 100 non-commissioned police officers by accidental sampling method. Research tools were questionnaires. Statistics used for data analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Multiple regression analysis. From the result of the study, it was found that; Level of participation in flood prevention of the police officers in general was at a high level. When considering in each aspect, it was found that, sacrificing in time was at a high level,followed by fund donation which was at a high level,plan implementing was at a medium level, planning was at a medium level and expressing the opinions and decision making were at a medium level. And results from the testing of the relationship on personal information consisted of gender, marital status, department / division, working period, educational level and position related to the level of participation in flood prevention of the police officers, the Royal Police Cadet Academy with statistical significance at the level of .05
