Abstract

Thinking based on Buddhist Principles or Yonisomanasikara is a method of wise reflection. There are 10 ways of thinking: 1) Analytical Thinking, 2) Synthesis Thinking, 3) Futuristic Thinking, 4) Integrative Thinking, 5) Strategic Thinking, 6) Applicative Thinking, 7) Critical Thinking, 8) Creative thinking, 9) Conceptual Thinking, and 10) Comparative Thinking. All these thinking processes are to analyze, distinguish and refine the causes with intelligence at the level known as Jintamayapanya. It was born as the right view (sammaditthi) to block the passion and prevent the desire from the heart. So it is able to stop suffering. And when a person who has practiced well can still apply it to the real-life problems of himself and others for the benefit, happiness, and finally getting out of suffering.  Therefore, this book is very useful as a foundation for basic understanding and as a guide for those who wish to make their lives happy, to develop themselves in each step of the processes until they reach the advanced level of wisdom for the end of suffering in the future.
