“Educational Supervision” an Assistance to Develop of Learning Management Competencies in 21st Century

Abstract
This academic article aimed to study and create a body of knowledge about educational supervision in the development of learning management competencies in the 21st century. It was found that the present world society faced volatility and rapid change, or what we call it “VUCA World” as well as the advancement of technology and communication without borders that had resulted in many new technologies and knowledge. Human beings of modern today need to be prepared to deal with these fluctuations. For education in the 21st century, teachers must adjust their thinking, change teaching, change the role of the teacher as a center of knowledge to be a facilitator and guide to encourage learners to create their own body of knowledge, teach less content for learners to learn more. If the learner was the only one who listened from the teacher, learner will learn less. But, if the learners had practiced doing it by themselves, the learners will be able to learn that was permanent. The methods of teaching and learning that were widely used today were hands-on learning and the application of technology. Therefore, educational supervision which was a process of academic cooperation between supervisors and teachers. It will be one of the aids to motivate, encourage, support, develop and help teachers to develop their own teaching-learning performance to achieve maximum efficiency. There always were up-to-date and able to respond to learners in the 21st century. It must also encourage learners to learn knowledge, skills or processes and attributes or attitudes until blending together to become the competence of learners and develop learners to the fullest potential of each individual by taking the learner as the priority.
