Development of the Student Support System for Students with Hearing Impairments of Special Schools for Disabilities under the Office of Special Education Administration according to Sappurisadhamma 7

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the operating conditions; 2) to develop a model of the student support system for students with hearing impairments of special schools for disabilities in accordance with Sappurisadhamma 7; and 3) to evaluate the model of the student support system. This was a mixed methods research. The tools used in this research were a data synthesis form, Semi-structured interview form, focus group discussion and assessment form was an estimation scale. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The population used was administrators and teachers of 48 special schools for disabilities. The sample group consisted of 15 school administrators from special schools for disabilities. The results of the research showed that 1) the operating conditions of the student support system consisted of knowing each student individually, student screening, prevention and correction, development and promotion and referral; 2) a model of the student support system for students with hearing impairments of special schools for disabilities in accordance with Sappurisadhamma 7was as follows : 2.1) knowing students individually, awareness of teachers and those involved in creating a student database system, storage tools and making an individual education management plan; 2.2) student screening divided into normal groups, risk groups, problem groups, and talent groups; 2.3) prevention and correction, supervision, monitoring, support, and promotion of knowledge and problem solving skills for students to have desirable behaviors; 2.4) development and promotion, constantly searching for excellence/genius and showing potential, creating a good role model/inspiration with professional speakers; 2.5) referral according to the individualized educational management plan; and 3) the results of the evaluation of model of the student support system for students with hearing impairments of special schools for disabilities in accordance with Sappurisadhamma 7 was the highest level in all aspects.
